The Baltimore Ravens will be without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson for a second straight game, already ruling him out for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.

Jackson left the first half of their game against the Denver Broncos two weeks ago with a knee injury. The only official timeline from the team is that it is not a season-ending injury and that they will take it on a week-to-week basis. He already missed this past week’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tyler Huntley has been his replacement, but Huntley was also injured on Sunday, suffering a concussion in the team’s 16-14 win over the Steelers.

The good news for the Ravens is that Huntley has been a full participant the past two days and would seem to be in line to start against the Browns.

The Ravens are in a fight with the Cincinnati Bengals for the top spot in the AFC North. They are tied with matching 9-4 records going into the weekend.

Even though the Ravens were able to get a win without Jackson on Sunday, they were very fortunate to do so against a bad Pittsburgh offense that turned the ball over three times, including two times in the red zone and another time in the end zone on a deep pass.

While they might not be as lucky on Sunday, the Browns offense has not exactly been an imposing threat the past couple of weeks as Deshaun Watson has struggled in his return from a suspension and gets his first live-game action in nearly two years.

The Ravens and Bengals still have one game remaining against each other, closing out the regular season with a Week 18 matchup. It is possible that Jackson could be back for that game with the division on the line.

The Bengals have by far the tougher remaining schedule between the two teams, but that advantage might get balanced out by the Ravens having to rely on a backup quarterback with an offense that had already been struggling to score points.
