#Heyward #brothers #special #day #Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers were 19-16 winners over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday to win their second game in a row, and it was the Heyward brothers — Cam and Connor — that played a big role in the win.
It was a very special and emotional day for both of them.
Cam, the Steelers’ veteran defensive lineman, recorded a big third down sack in the first half, while his younger brother Connor hauled in a 17-yard touchdown from rookie Kenny Pickett to give the Steelers their only touchdown of the day.
It was a pretty historic day in that sense since it made them the first pair of brothers to record a sack and score a touchdown in the same game, and for the same team, since sacks were officially tracked during the 1982 season.
