I have multiple boats listed and I keep getting double bookings

Solution: You can now connect your FishingBooker calendars for multiple listings.

How does this help me? Do you run trips with more than one boat? Then you probably know that keeping on top of your bookings across all platforms can feel like tough work. Now, you no longer have to worry about accepting double bookings or switching between listings to find out who’s coming fishing with you. 

I’m not sure where I can change my account or profile information

Solution: You can now find this information – and more – easily on the new account dashboard. It’s located here, and it looks like this on your computer:

How does this help me? You can easily see which part of your account you need to click on to change specific information. Before, all of your business information was on one page, which meant you had to scroll and search to find the relevant information. Your personal information and public profile are now separate, so you can choose what you want your customers to see. 

Customers think they’ll catch a Marlin on a half day trip, help!

Solution: You can now tag specific fish species on each trip you offer through the My Trips app and from your computer. 

How does this help me? You can set customer expectations more realistically. Before, you could only display target fish species on your listing as a whole. Some customers would rely on this information, which gave them the wrong idea about what they might be targeting. Now, they’ll be able to see exactly what they can target on each trip before, during, and after they book with you.

I find it easier to call customers, not send them an Instant Message

Solution: You can now call customers directly from the new-and-improved Instant Messaging system. 

How does this help me? If you prefer talking on the phone to typing, as soon as you accept a booking, you can simply click on the direct link in the booking details section of any message. You know longer have to click through and copy the customer’s phone number and paste it elsewhere. This means that, within seconds, you can be on the phone with your customer.

I want to make sure I don’t miss important information or booking requests

Solution: You can now see important updates, urgent notifications, and business recommendations with the new My Trips app home screen.

How does this help me? Rather than clicking around on the app trying to keep track of your notifications and booking details, we’ll make sure that you see all important updates, messages, and business recommendations as soon as you log in and open the app. You’ll see upcoming trips, booking requests, your latest dashboard notifications, and recommendations to improve your listing, as well as tips to get more attention from customers.

I want to know if I’m on track for winning the Angler’s Choice Award

Solution: You can now track your progress and see how close you are to winning the award. 

How does this help me? The Angler’s Choice Award takes place every three months, meaning you have more opportunities to win it. With the progress tracker, you can see exactly how close you are to fulfilling the requirements, such as being fully verified and having a high reliability score. When you have this information, you can then focus on what you need to do to win.
